I was born on October 2, 1433 in Hagia Sophia Church to Makrus Kylech and his mistress Natashia Velokov. Markus was already  married thus making me a bastard. At the age of eighteen I became a Basilikon  Guard, guarding Constantine XI, Emperor of the Roman Empire. All went fine until the Turk Sultan Mehmet launched the final attack on the city. I was cast adrift in the Black Sea and woke up in Ravensblood Glen,  awakened by the cawing of birds. I wandered around until finding an encampment.
