Standing Earl, Lord Felcyn Fistophilus accepts challenge
Lord Tristin emerges the victor and new EARL!
As has been stated before, Broknarrans one and all stood to benefit no matter what the outcome due the fondness held for both contenders: Lord Tristin du Navarre and standing Earl, Lord Felcyn Fistophilus. As well loved as both men were, the real diffulty most of us has was decided which side to fight for. Thanks in no small part to the great reputations of both men and the fine example they've set throughout their tenure in service to Broknarra, the battles that followed were among the most sporting ever witnessed. As a testament to the admiration shown to both men, the sides that culminated around them were nearly numerically even.

In keeping with tradition, the victor would be decided by the first to win two out of three battles. The first battle witnessed the contingents amass on the large open field of Markham's Spartan Hold. When the Reeves issued he start signal, the masses converged upon one-another. The battle raged all about the open field and even into the woodland perimeter. At some length it drew to a close and Tristin had secured his first victory.

The second battle was met with even greater zeal from both sides. Felcyn's folk in particular were envigorated by their prior loss and from a drive to even the score. The clouds of dust were kicked up all about the open field as fights raged on nearly every inch of it. At the last, Tristin's forces would prevail though at great cost.

With Tristin capturing the second requisite victory, he had won the day as well as the Crown of Broknarra.

Lord Tristin's coronation is slated to occur during the upcoming Feast and Awards Ceremony at 7 PM atop Doolin's Keep (Chandler Park - upper level) this coming Saturday, October 16th. Feast tickets will remain on sale this Saturday at
