Tristin is rumored to have fought during the Battle of Hastings. By all accounts, it was in this same battle where he fell defending his commander while all other conscripts had fled.
Waking alone, and amidst the woods, though recalling his last moment of consciousness being among a trodden field of tall grass, Tristin wandered for some time in the wilds ere coming at length to the lays Broknarra.
Ever has Tristin been an affable, if soft spoken, fellow. Slow to anger, quick to peace, yet fierce and relentless when the need was at hand. Early in his service to Broknarra, Tristin gained much acclaim as a maker of things; whether arms, armour, or artistry. Much renoun did he gain in his many years of service to the ideals of Apokrypha. He served amid, and led, numerous companies.
In time, as with many of his peers, Tristin would carry the cause and ideals of Apokrypha abroad, fighting along side the likes of the famed Alton's Company, led by none other than the illustrious Lord Alton le Peto, an early Broknarran legend in his own right. Amid the company of Alton, Tristin continues to distinguish himself; ever a bastion of the ideals of Apokrypha.
Yet, when the call is given, Tristin has been ever loyal to his Broknarran homeland; still returning at whiles to set things aright.
In his latter wondering's, fate timely brought him to a family in need who were recently shipped wrecked in the land of Apokrypha. As he approached shield and mace at the ready, he immediately recognized the bandits band called the Devils Own. He acted quickly and helped dispatch the bandits. He remained for a few years with the family, know as Otori, learning of their past and culture. During the time spent with the Otori the master of the house, Lord Shigeru, renamed Tristin to Otori Kuma. He explained to Tristin that he was now adopted into the family Otori. Tristin was humbled by this great honor.
Alas over time Tristins heart grew restless for his homeland of Broknarra. Upon returning he was greeted by Lord Motomushi. He promised Lord Motomushi that he would help train his troops and fight by his side freeing the lands of evil. He can still be found on the field of battle dispatching the wicked and freeing the toiled.
