"In order that the persian assault might be hindered in time to mount a sufficient defense, it was agreed amongst the Spartan elders that Lakedaemon would send three hundred of her sons to fortify the Hot Gates of Thermopylae. Wesimus, captain of the Solid Oak regiment, was among those chosen. He, accompanied by two hundred and ninety-nine of his brothers, marched to the Hot Gates at Thermoplyae.

For four long days, Wesimus struggled against the Persian sword. On the fifth day of the battle, the loss of blood from his many wounds finally caused Wesimus to faulter and he caught a Persian sword with his throat. Hoping to finally rest, he found himself lying on a dirt road. Gathering his feet beneath him, he began to walk the path. He soon found himself in the presence of other Spartans. Among them where Medeocrates, Jason, Dorian, Kasster, Pollox, Alpheus and Maron. Peace was upon them, all believing they had died. Soon however, the reality of their situation became apparent. The Spartans where attacked by what seemed to be demons, lead by a man with no face. Surving their encounter, they found that even their fatal wounds had healed. The Spartans realized that they would soon face more advisaries. Wesimus, with the guidance of Lord Medeocrates, was elected Captain. And thus, Sparta was born."
