* On the Thanksgiving weekend we blessed with numerous new Citizens as well as renewals of Citizenship. New Citizens included Jimmy Doss and Ross Spiker (for 3 years). Renewals included Charles the Archer (for 2 years), Lord Genseric von Nurnberg, and Warlord Zero Crane . We were also pleased to welcome newcomer, Matt Carpenter (referred by Adean) to our midst. Additionally, we saw the proud return of one of Broknarra's past factions, Haus Nurnberg.

Of the five factions fielding (Dark Order, Dragons..., Legio IX, Sparta, and Haus Nurnberg), Legio IX captured 2 points while Sparta captured 1.
Warlord Tourney: Santa vs. The Grinch
* Forces of the Grinch led by Daimyo (Thane) Takeda Shingen and those of Santa led Lady Katherine Wallace's leftenant, Lord Magnus Munro, met once again in this new seasonal Warlord Tourney. While the first battle witnessed a rapid victory for Takeda, the facial hair-bearing helpers of Santa we thorough invigorated and went on the capture the day's point by delivering the Grinchlings two successive defeats; thus tying the score. With two battles remaining on 12/4 and again on 12/11 at the MELEE GATHERING, who knows what outcome is in store.

Advance-Retreat Tale of Two
* An Advance Retreat Tale of Two was held to the delight of all involved. It began in the 3-portal woodland and retreated to the confines of the new Courtward with battle ensuing at both the North and South end and ultimately occuring within the very Courtyard itself. Alas for the retreating parties.
Qualifying Tourney 5 of 6: TWO-HANDERS
Later in the day, the 5th of 6 Qualifying Tourneys, Two-handers, was fought as parties sought to earn a slot to fight in the Champion's Tourney at the upcoming MELEE GATHERING on December 11th. After a strong showing among a host of contenders, the final results were:
